Alec studied composition at the Junior Royal Academy of Music from 2021 to 2025 under Edmund Jolliffe and Grace-Evangeline Mason. He is grateful to currently hold a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where he will graduate in 2029.

As a composer, He's written for various ensembles such as symphony orchestra, string orchestra, wind quintet, mixed duos, solo piano, symphonic winds and more, with works performed by the JRAM symphony orchestra, Kyan Quartet, and senior RAM students.

As a pianist and conductor, he has performed in prestigious venues including LSO St Luke’s and Cadogan Hall, appearing as a soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20 and as part of the choir for Daphnis et Chloé. He has also conducted his works various times both in performances and workshops.
